Funding for 4th light tower secured

We had some exciting news delivered by The Federal Minister for Stirling, the Hon Michael Keenan, today when dropped by the club to formally announce to our President, Tony Mullen, that we had been successful in our application for a grant from the Community Sport Infrastructure program.

The grant will allow us to buy and install a desperately needed 4th light tower at the ground. This will provide much needed light in the area behind our 2nd pitch, making training in that area much safer.

The community sport infrastructure program supports small to medium scale projects up to $500,000 to improve local community sport infrastructure which will support greater community participation in sport and physical activity and/or offer safer and more inclusive community sporting hubs.

This is great news for the club, and we thank the Honourable Michael Keenan, and also the Federal Sports Minister Senator the Hon. Bridget McKenzie for the grant.
